Since switching to a vegan lifestyle, smoothies have become a staple of my diet. They are so refreshing, nutritious and fun to slurp down on a hot day. This is the recipe I use for the green smoothie I have daily.

what you’ll need.

Blender (I use the Vitamix + I freaking love it!)

1 medium to large banana (freeze for a thicker consistancy)

1 cup of frozen organic mango chunks

1/2 cup of OJ

1 heaped tablespoon of Barley Grass Juice Powder

*You can also add spinach, kale or any other greens you have on hand

Simply blend all ingredients in the blender until smooth + enjoy!
